Day 2: From Photos to Illustration | Use graphics and illustrations to transform your normal shapes into stunning illustrations. I used the color transfer and style transfer neural filters.
Day 3: Creating A Collage | Use the Auto Selection Tools to composite objects into a surreal portrait. I photographed items from my collection using Photoshop’s camera on my iPhone.
Day 4: Changing The Lighting In A Photo | Replace the background of an image to transform the mood of a photo.
Day 5: Custom Gradients | Create your own custom gradient maps to transform flat shapes into dynamic 3D objects. I made the heart shape in Illustrator, imported it and added light and shade to the outside and inside shapes, then I clipped an Adobe stock image to the whole think and applied the overlay blend mode at 75%.
Day 6: Transforming Type Into an Illustration | Use stamps, custom brushes, and effects to transform your type into a storybook illustration. The trees are upside down Vs and the flowers are made of asterisks and Os.
Day 7: Trippy Type | Design a typographic illusion by using textures, transform tools, and gradients.
Day 8: Custom 3D Lettering | Give your lettering some dimension! Use the mixer brush to create hand drawn 3D lettering.
Animating Your Type: Make your type stand out by adding animation effects with the timeline panel.
